Alex Sweet Competes at U.S. Olympic Trials

OMAHA, Neb. -- Former Washington and Lee swimmer Alex Sweet Competed at the United States Olympic Trials on Friday morning and finished tied for 64th overall out of 113 competitors in the 50 freestyle event.

Sweet completed the meet with a time of 23.28.  Garrett Weber-Gale and Ben Wildman-Tobriner finished 1-2 in the finals to earn a spot on the U.S. Olympic Team.

Sweet will complete his collegiate eligibility next fall at the University of Lousville, where he will begin medical school.
