BALTIMORE, Md. -- Washington and Lee seniors Chris Lalli (Cranbury, N.J./Princeton) and Jim Ryan (Virginia Beach, Va./Norfolk Academy) have been selected to participate in the 2007 USILA Division III North-South Senior Men's Lacrosse All-Star game.
The game will be played at Calvert Hall in Baltimore, Md., on Fri., May 25 at 4:00 pm and will be followed by the Division I-II game at 5:45 pm.
A goalkeeper, Lalli was selected to the South team after finishing sixth in Division III in save percentage (.655) and 21st in goals-against average (7.35). His 192 saves this season were a career-high as he garnered First Team All-ODAC honors. Lalli finished his career ranked fifth all-time at W&L in saves (486) and tied for fifth in save percentage (.615).
A midfielder, Ryan was chosen to participate after totaling 19 points during the 2007 season on 14 goals and five assists. Ryan played in 60 games during his four seasons and completed his career with 64 points on 45 goals and 19 assists.
Other ODAC athletes selected to participate in the game are Lynchburg's Brandon Fell, Thomas Jennings and Ryan Harrington of Hampden-Sydney and Roanoke's Jon Mason.
Washington and Lee finished the 2007 season with a 9-6 overall record and a 4-2 mark in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
