SALEM, Va. -- Washington and Lee garnered the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Players of the Week for women's lacrosse and men's tennis for the week ending February 25th.
Sophomore midfielder Colleen Evans (Lexington, Va./Rockbridge County) was the ODAC's pick for women's lacrosse, while junior Seth Feibelman (Richmond, Va./Douglas Freeman) nabbed the accolade for men's tennis.
Evans scored four goals and assisted on a pair of scores to lead the No. 11 Washington and Lee women's lacrosse team to its first-ever win over No. 13 St. Mary's (Md.), 11-10, on Saturday. Through two games, Evans has totaled a team-best eight points on five goals and three assists.
Feibelman helped the Generals to a 2-1 start to the season with wins over Emory & Henry and Sewanee and a loss to Division I Furman. He went 1-0 at No. 1 singles and 1-1 at No. 2 singles and 1-0 at No. 1 doubles. For the year, Feibelman is 5-4 in singles and 3-2 in singles.
