W&L MEN'S SWIMMING NATIONALLY RANKED

SOMERS, Wis. -- CollegeSwimming.com recently released its Division III national rankings and the Washington and Lee men's swim team was picked 14th in the poll. This is the highest ranking for the Generals since being selected 10th in December of 2005.

Denison sits atop the poll, followed by Emory, Kenyon, Wabash, Rowan, UW-Stevens Point, UC-Santa Cruz, DePauw, Carnegie Mellon and Olivet, who round out the top 10.

Early this season, the Generals defeated Rowan (ranked 5th), 135-104, on Nov. 19 and Carnegie Mellon (ranked 9th), 149-113, on Nov. 18.

The W&L men's swim team returns to action on Sat., Jan. 13 when it takes on Wingate at 11 am in Wingate, N.C.
