LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior setter Christine Gladysz (Palm Harbor, Fla./Berkeley Prep) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending October 30. It marks the third time this season that she has garnered the award.

Gladysz helped lead the Generals to a 4-1 week by averaging 14.0 assists, 3.36 digs, 1.29 blocks, 0.93 aces and 0.86 kills per game in four matches played. She was named the tournament MVP of the Centre Halloween Bash over the weekend.

Gladysz posted five aces in a 3-0 win over Piedmont, 59 assists and six blocks in a 3-1 loss to Capital and 53 assists and five blocks in a 3-1 win over Centre.

A two-time Third Team All-American, Gladysz has already established a new ODAC record for career assists (5,077) and set a new W&L record for career aces (249) this season.

Washington and Lee (29-4, 10-0) will return to action in the quarterfinals of the ODAC Tournament on Friday at Emory & Henry. The Generals take on Guilford at 10:00 am.
