WILTSHIRE NAMED ODAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee junior forward Anne Wiltshire (Richmond, Va./Collegiate) was named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week ending October 2. It was the second time this season that Wiltshire has won the award.

Wiltshire helped the Generals to a 2-0 overall and ODAC record by totaling five points in the two games.

Wiltshire scored two goals in a 9-0 win over Bridgewater on Sept. 27. She then scored two goals and notched an assist in a 7-0 victory over Emory & Henry on Oct. 1.

Wiltshire leads the team in scoring with 21 points on a team-high nine goals and three assists. Her two game-winning goals are tied for the team lead.

Wiltshire is also moving up the school's all-time list for points, goals, and assists. She is currently tied for third all-time with 37 goals, ranks fourth with 89 points, and is sixth with 15 assists.

Washington and Lee is currently 6-1-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the ODAC. It returns to action on Wednesday at Guilford for a 4:00 pm contest.
