W&L WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED 24TH IN THE NATION

LEXINGTON, Va. -- In the latest edition of the 2005 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas Division III women's soccer poll which was released on Tuesday, Washington and Lee earned the No. 24 ranking.

This is the Generals highest ranking since they were ranked 23rd in the Sept. 21, 2004 poll.

W&L is currently riding a 15-game unbeaten streak and is 12-1-3 overall and 9-0-2 in the ODAC this season.

The Generals, who earned the number two seed in the upcoming ODAC Tournament, will host a quarterfinal game at Watt Field on Sat., Oct. 29. The opponent and time are still to be determined.
