LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee senior Paul McClure (Memphis, Tenn./Memphis University School) and junior David Shay (Martinez, Ga./Augusta Prep) have been selected to participate in the NCAA Division III Individual Championships held May 21-23 at the University of California Santa Cruz.

McClure has posted a 15-8 overall record at No. 1 singles for W&L this season and the duo of McClure and Shay has gone 12-9 at No. 1 doubles.

Washington and Lee had its team season end on Sunday as it fell to second-ranked Emory University, 4-0, in the NCAA Division III Second Round. The Generals finished with a 16-6 overall record and a No. 13 national ranking.
