LEXINGTON, Va. -- Washington and Lee sophomore Kim Kreider (New Richmond, Ohio/New Richmond) became the first rider in the brief history of the program to earn a ranking in the Zone IV, Region II.

Kreider ranks third behind only Jessica Parker of Hollins and Jenny Old of Virginia. Kreider has posted first place finishes in the open flat and open over fences and claims a pair of runner-up finishes in the open flat in invitationals this year.

As a team, the Generals ranked sixth of 11 teams in the rankings, trailing Hollins, Randolph-Macon Woman's College, Virginia, James Madison and Virginia Tech.

W&L will return to action on March 25 as it competes in the James Madison Invitational.
