LEXINGTON, Va. – This weekend, Washington and Lee will honor a special group of individuals who will be inducted into the school’s 25th anniversary class for its Athletic Hall of Fame.
The group will be officially honored in a ceremony held on campus at 7:00 pm on Friday evening, throughout the day on Saturday and at halftime of the Generals’ football game against Centre College on Saturday at 7:00 pm.
The 2012 class includes, swimmer Tad Van Leer ’77, lacrosse player Reid Campbell ’90, football and baseball player Graig Fantuzzi ’96, volleyball player Lindsay Ruckert Mutimer ’02 and athletic trainer Tom Jones. Additionally, W&L will honor 2011 inductee and golfer Jack Vardaman ’62, who was unable to take part in last year’s activities.
