Alison Kapuska joined the Washington and Lee athletic staff in February of 2011 as an assistant athletic trainer, where she works with several athletic teams.
Before coming to Lexington, Kapuska served as an intern athletic trainer at the University of Tampa for the 2010-11 school year. In this role, she was responsible for providing injury prevention and care for the Spartans’ volleyball team.
A 2008 graduate of Saint Cloud State with a bachelor of arts in athletic training, Kapuska served as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Grand Valley State from 2008-10. She earned a master of education in higher education from GVSU where she performed care for a number of sports and was a clinical instructor in the undergraduate curriculum.
Kapuska’s experience also includes performing duties as as a student-assistant athletic trainer at Saint Cloud St., working with women’s hockey, football, track & field, soccer, baseball and wrestling. She is an NATA-BOC and a Florida certified athletic trainer. She is also certified in CPR and AED devices and holds a basic EMT certification.
