Brittani Sahm joins the Washington and Lee sports information staff for her first year as the sports information assistant, serving as the main contact for men’s and women’s soccer, women’s tennis, women’s basketball, men’s and women’s swimming, women’s lacrosse, and riding.
Sahm has come to W&L after spending a semester at Williams College where she was a sports information intern.
At Williams, Sahm was responsible for the men’s and women’s soccer statistics, women’s volleyball statistics, and game-day publications. She also assisted in the daily duties required for 30 varsity sports.
Sahm is a 2011 SUNY Cortland graduate, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sport management and a minor in computer applications, and was a member of the women’s track and field team. She was a volunteer in the sports information department for two years.
On the track, Sahm competed for the Red Dragons during their most recent SUNYAC Championship title in the 2011 outdoor season. Her 4x100-meter relay team finished second, recording an NCAA-provisional qualifying time (48.35). In the same season, Sahm was selected to the USTFCCCA’s All-Academic Team, and the SUNYAC Commissioner’s List and All-Academic list.
